I'd suggest to set maximum points for one person to obtain. This will allow two things: after reaching the max you can rest or test new strategies without hurting coalition score. And also it allows to plan your gameplay accordingly.  If the rewards need to be adjusted - let it be.

Brigby makes it sound like this is rocket surgery; it's not. At some point, shouldn't we have to acknowledge that "transition" and "solid foundation" are excuses?

People, how long has it been since the new team took over and how quickly have you all already been baying for updates, changes, new information, etc.? How long do you think a proper transition should take?

Hi Corn Noodles. I understand that these past couple of months have been frustrating without the support of a full development team, but please understand that bringing on a completely new team, to work on what is essentially a foreign system to them, is not a simple and quick task.

Please consider this metaphor: You're a musician in a band and you just found out the headlining spot for a concert just opened up, and your band was chosen to play in its place. Exciting right? Well now imagine that the concert has already started, and you're also being told your band needs to learn and play the previous band's songs before the opening bands are done playing.

Sure, your band plays the exact same instruments as the previous one, but learning new songs is time-consuming and perfecting them takes even longer. Your band wants to go out and perform as soon as possible, but at the same time you don't want to rush out onto the stage and potentially mess up playing the songs.

I understand your metaphor perfectly, but how difficult is it to simply return the Hour of Revelation event to Wednesday where it has always been? That's at least a start and shows that the new dev team is listening to us the players. In it's simplest form it's a sign of good faith. You needn't change everything all at once with a major overhaul, this might be exactly how bugs find their way into the game.

The changes to the events schedule is a topic I am already in the midst of discussing with the team. As of right now, we are determining who/what caused the schedule to change, and what would be the best course of action in order to resolve this issue.

"Hey boss, I wonder what this does?!"

    "Banzai!"

This made my day, haha! Thanks @Steeme

D3 has had plenty of time to do this. What your metaphor conveniently ignores, is that D3 dropped the ball on getting a new development team into place in a timely manner. D3 should have known what was coming with Hibernum. If not, can you please point me to a breach of contract lawsuit that's been filed against Hibernum?

Is it so hard for you all to admit you screwed up on this transition?

I don't know a thing about coding (outside of a visual basic HS course) but I am a musician and understand what it takes to learn music. People that are properly trained in performance (and have years of experience) can pick up sheet music and play it just fine. Historically (previous to the 20th century), musicians would perform without ever practicing or even seeing the music. Mozart would roll up in his carriage, hand out the music, and it would be played that evening.
Sorry for picking apart your analogy and I honestly don't mind allowing the new team a reasonable amount of time to get situated before new content hits the shelves, but the music analogy doesn't work for me so much lol.
Thanks for doing your best to keep us informed, and looking forward to the data push (which I don't know what that is lol).

Having worked in many businesses over many years and having gone through similar events that D3/ Hibernium experienced.... I'll tell you this much.  We as the public are not privy to such details unless we're a stockholder.  In this case D3 hasn't gone "public" so any and all business behind closed doors is and rightfully their right.  No amount of berating will change that because in any business that wishes to grow. You. Don't.  Air. Your.  Laundry.  Period. Believe it or not Businesses have suddenly shut doors leaving employees and associated  attending companies high and dry.  Lumber yards I worked for lost entire resources of drywall, mouldings, and insulation. We displayed their product,  used it to advance our business and construction sales. When those events happened,  we had a week's worth of notice in each event and many of our contractors blamed us... not them for the lack of materials they needed to finish a  job.  Those companies services were not in breach and we had no choice but to be reactionary and dealt with it in a quiet manner as possible. We lost our tinykittys in money trying to order product from across the country and take a loss in selling it to keep our contractors and pay our employees while going deeper in the red.  Our contractors for the most part were not aware of the bind we were in or most just didn't care .... as long as they got what they needed.  They didn't need to hear any validation about why we "failed" to deliver our services in full because that was our problem.  Not the public.  D3 has been going forward. At least acknowledge that and see what they have stored for us. It takes money to make money and I can guess they're not readily making much at the moment.... but when things are back in line.  I can imagine a re-grand opening with a great many specials being planned, it's what I would do to draw players back into the fold and appease those who've been waiting diligently.

Shoot! It's too bad the player base decided on not another dime until we had a product worth spending money on. It was a lot easier to be happier about a flawed product that was giving us meaningful rewards and respecting our time.

Considering that you're referring to a very small percentage of the player base out of a very large world wide player pool that followed that mantra, and that is only of those from the pool of players that attend the forums, the level of impact you would've had is minimal at best. Else you'd had seen a significant drop in prices to tempt and regain players. While I commend your efforts as it held worth, In games like this new paying players are added everyday thanks to google play and FB because their recruiting efforts are far better than that in the forums. These new players also far out number those that took up the "not another penny, sir" banner and most definitely are not aware of the issues that happened  months ago that triggered this and many likely don't care as it didn't directly affect them. As to my statement that you quoted, that is in regards to the lack of any real reason to spend any real life coin at the moment due to no new content and many of us are so far into the set that spending any coin to gain an advantage in draws is counterintuitive anyways... even if just spending saved crystals even. Regardless, no matter how much D3 made or not made this past quarter. D3 still has to spend the coin to rebuild their development team and future marketing concepts based on what that development team comes up with or more likely can _work_ with before they begin to release new content. This would've been the exact same issue when the game first came about before it was. ever. released... imagine that. No matter the type of business ya gotta spend money to make money ... even if rebuilding.

You are correct about the type of player that visits (and comments) on the forum @Gunmix25 I'd been playing for a year before I joined the forum and, even then, I went to Reddit first.
