What happens to expired limited LTs?

I've been hoarding, so I haven't cashed in any of these limited LTs you get from boss events and the like since Sinister 6.  I was assuming once expired, their odds just became like latest legends.  But then I wondered why it would keep the token's specific art instead of merging them over to LL.  Do they retain their original odds?

    generally yes.

    Once the store is made,  it stays the same unless the event is rerun and new odds are updated.

    you see this in the normal events.  They retain their art and odds until the even is rerun.

    But LL stores are generally run once (at least they haven't rerun yet.)

    no expiration date either
