I like it. It's new and seems pretty interesting.
Time to spend a little iso to level up Prof X. That's been overdue on my part.

Surprised that Rogue isn't an award in Hearts of Darkness to run along with this event.

I do think that while the paygate aspect is infuriating, why are we really mad about a bonus event that gives out free stuff?  It looks like we'll be able to play the vast majority of the event if we have developed rosters, including that free Rogue cover, so I'm looking forward to it.

Not only we need to fully cover her, we need to basically champ a new character in 4-5 days? That's ridiculous. Everything else i like, more of this.

I personally am not mad. just skeptical of their choices and worried about their choices for the anniversary if this is how they are going to do a bonus event.

I am fully expecting another "but you were supposed to lose" events for the anniversary now. Will be happy to be wrong though.

Yes, you will be required to level her up in order to play the later missions.

As with any 4-Star character, Level 78 is attainable with 2 covers, level 111 is attainable with 4 covers, level 169 is attainable with 8 covers, and level 251 is attainable with 13 covers.

The fact that you're reeling the numbers off so casually just makes this even more incredulous. This is the first new character event that I've witnessed which needs the said character to be fully covered and leveled up within a week to attain max completion.

I do appreciate originality and new concepts. In some ways, this concept could become a regular event like something akin to a week-long DDQ which matches rewards with difficulty based on roster levels.

Unless there are going to be covers for her and ISO dropping like snow in a blizzard then the majority of us are already railroaded into the sidelines. I understand that said levels already require specific characters in their rosters at specific levels to attain progression. Wolverine is almost four years old, Prof X is well over two years old and Cyclops is almost two years old. I'll give this event a try, Wolverine I championed a few months ago and Prof X I championed only last week. My Cyclops is 3/3/5, level 190, it won't take too much to get him to 209.

But still, thirteen covers within a week, as well as the 300+k(?) ISO, needed to level that character up to that point within twenty-four hours notice? C'mon!

Classic scummy D3 move. Bait our excitement with a new event, and then gate a bunch of rewards; one gate being virtually impossible to attain. But don't worry! You can get a couple iso rewards! And a generic vault filled with 2*s! But we want you to have a bunch of high level 4*s to play!

The X-Men affiliation will be added to all applicable characters in Friday's daily patch. I'll be compiling that information, and posting the list in the forum tomorrow.

Not gonna make it to rogue and cyclops required levels. X force wolverine will cost me some iso to take to 209, prof x is champed

3 from your first place PVE finish
3 from your first place PVP finish
1 from this event
and 4 from spending your HP stash on tokens and vaults.

and then 10 more from spending your HP stash while you try to get the cover you only have 1/2 in when your other two are stuck at 5.

edit: sorry, the rewards just came out and I forgot for a new character it's 1st or 2nd and you earn 4 covers for PVE.

You can also earn her from Placement rewards in Hearts of Darkness and Hollowpoint Kiss, as well as earning another cover from the Call for Backup mission in S.H.I.E.L.D. Training.
