Scarlet Witch didn't stun (because of airborne?)

I just faced a Scarlet Witch team and she threw her purple at me.
My Vulture was airborne at the moment and none of the other two team members (Iceman, Psylocke) became stunned.

I'm assuming maybe the stun tried to affect Vulture? But couldn't reach him because he was soaring way above?
