Boosted 5 star?

After two events, one in SCL9 and now in SCL8, I have come to the realization that if there is a required 5 star node then you need to boost that 5 star.

Yes, I know the node is not required for progression, but it is required for placement.

The bottom line is, until there is a massive increase in the availability of ISO8, or you change the way we level up characters, you need to boost which ever champion is required to play a node.

The other option is to get rid of placement rewards and put it all into personal progression. I fear the first new cover release event when I HAVE to run the 5 star node 6 or 7 times in order to stay top 100 to get the new cover.

Then again, who cares. I've only been playing for nearly 1000 days. Why would D3go and the developers care what I think.

If it isn't necessary for progression, then it isn't necessary. Placement is a measure of your roster against everyone else's. And if everyone else is playing with a non-boosted 5*, placement scoring isn't unfair, it's just difficult, and difficult is good.
