Cards deactivating when rearranging hand

Scenario:

AI flies off the handle and I end up in a situation where I need pinpoint accuracy in setting up a multi-card combo + gem swap.

Activate/deactivate cards as required, and rearrange all cards in a specific casting order.

Execute the gem swap.

Watch in complete discombobulation as I discover one of the cards that was part of the required combo is now deactivated and the entire move is ruined, causing me to either drop objectives or lose the match entirely.

This happened to me for about the 4th time this morning, over a span of the past several weeks.  Each time it happens I know something is off, but I always chalked it up to perhaps making a mistake or leaving a card deactivated by accident.

Posting this in General chat to see if there's any corroboration or insight.  Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?  Does rearranging a hand have a chance to deactivate a card, perhaps if I'm clicking on the wrong spot?  I seriously don't know what is causing the issue.  When I'm in this type of situation I'm very careful because it is basically a sink or swim scenario.  The card is deactivating without me noticing since I only find out after it's too late.

Yes you can disable a card if you're accidentally touching the disable button while dragging stuff. I've done that a few times.

You can also disable a card when it pops up when drawn if you're fast enough. I used to do that to ninja disable cards I didn't want auto cast while kiora was doing her ramp/draw thing, but they narrowed the window to do it, so it's almost always by accident now.

Did not know this.  I'll have to try it with New Perspectives and that 3-cost cycle ramp auto-cast card.

I do these two things in reverse order (rearrange, then activate/deactivate) and the only times I've ever had a problem have all been instances of me being dumb.

Did not know this either, thanks!

Need to be really fast and spam taps guys. Really spam them.

Like I said, it's a lot to do with luck now and I can't do it reliably anymore. I still try though, because nothing sucks more than tentacles getting cast on your lethal dmg board.

Hey guys, for posterity, I did actually figure out my issue, since it happened again and I actually caught it in the act.

It was against Nicol Bolas, and I had a Shefet monitor deactivated as I was saving it.  I reached Nissa's ultimate and decided to hard cast the Shefet so I could be pumping 3 creatures with cycling.  I reactivated the card, then swiped my hand closed.

It was the swiping action to close my hand that deactivated the card.  I suppose I was hitting the button during the swiping action.

At least I figured it out.  Technically, the button shouldn't deactivate that way, it should only happen with an "On Click" event and not an "On Press".
