Successful defending

In this new way of proggression where every victory counts, shouldn't successful defenses also
count as victories? Just fought of three attacks, but kept the same number of victories.

    Nope.
    Because then we'd go back to the short-lived retreat rumba, where 6-7 people deliberately retreated against someone to boost them to 1k.
    Instead if 1k you'd now boost them to 40 defensive wins.

    I expected this to be a bug as well. If defensive wins don't count towards your total then there is no incentive to have a strong defensive team for people that aren't going for top placement (like me).

    I guess I might as well line up weak champions when I stop playing to help other players get their wins sooner.

    Also, losing matches while defending will keep me in the lower regions of my bracket which may help me getting easier matches.
