    • Drax (The Destroyer)
    • Gamora (Awesome Mix Volume 2)
    • Rocket & Groot (Awesome Mix Volume 2)
    • Star-Lord (Legendary Outlaw)
    • Yondu (Awesome Mix Volume 2)
    3-Star
    • Gamora (Guardians of the Galaxy)
    • Rocket & Groot (Most Wanted)
    • Star-Lord (Peter Quill)

    Nova, Agent Venom, The Thing, Iron Man, Carol Danvers - all helped the Guardians in the comics, but it would be too much to affiliate them as Guardians of the Galaxy, as I feel they weren't so much part of the team, rather see them as allies. Maybe Kitty Pride could be more justified to be part of the group if she ever see the light of the day in MPQ, but as things are right now, only official members would be affiliated to the group, hence Nebula could become one if she is going to be released in the future, or the old Guardians. 

    PS. And to me knowledge Richards was the Nova that tangled with the Guardians, not Sam.
