Can't Join the Curent Hour of Relvelation

I just get the "something went wrong" screen over and over again when the game tries to join the event.

Also, I have been getting the "something went wrong" error a lot when trying to finish today's training ground when claiming matches and fetching events.

If you do manage to get in don't count on your wins being recorded.  So far both games I played resulted in "Something went wrong."  The first time I got my 7 points, the second time I got nothing. And deafening silence from d3go.  No surprise there.

It's a disaster. I'm not playing another game until it's fixed.

Although I eventually managed to join the event and extremely narrowly won the first match, there really seems to be a problem here. (Right. Cynic me would say "a" problem? More like "yet another / one more" or "a million" problem(s).) When I began to write this message, I couldn't even check back into the event to look up if it was the blue or the green node that I had played. Whatever I did, the error message kept reappearing and the only thing I could do was click "Try again" (whatever the English text is - the German text is "Erneut versuchen"). There was no way to cancel the game's futile attempts to do what it was told / supposed to do.
Anyway, talking about 'cancel' buttons: After feeling extremely happy about winning that utterly horrible first match (kudos to the person who built that Kiora deck - the one with the grow-when-card-is-drawn MP-creature and at the same time the card that gets the last spell cast by your opponent and also deals damage to the opponent equal to the casting cost of the spell cast - deadly in an 'enraged' event! That was really hard to win against.), I also got an error message, this time it gave the options to either try again or cancel. I was extremely reluctant to press the "cancel" button, since immediately after a match this usually means that the match result is ignored (and thus counted as a loss) while the node charge is in fact reduced. Luckily, this was not the case. After trying again and again for an hour or so, I eventually hit the "cancel" button and actually received the points earned. So I tried my luck again in the white node, and again I narrowly won and once again I am stuck in the "Something went wrong" mode of this torture you call a game. The game tries to finish the fight, but it can't, so I'm pressing "cancel" again - now the game is trying to load the event - failure without option to to cancel - it loads - end of Training Ground intervenes - event loads, white node has one charge less, but no points whatsoever were added to my score. :s

Note to the future developing team: Would you please consider keeping in mind that this is a mobile game? Thus I guess it would be a good idea (after fixing all the extremely annoying bugs your colleagues so skillfully put in, of course) to offer an option to switch off each and every animation in this 'game'? I don't need to see a card popping up if a servo or a token is put into play. This only takes time and processing power for completely unnecessary fluff.
And would you mind minimizing the connection / server checks? Right now after every click the game seems to reload every tiniest little bit of information again and again from the server. This takes a lot of time when not playing at home through the WLAN and it also causes lots and lots of error messages whenever the game is not happy with the phone connection.
In addition: 2.2 GB? For a mobile game? Is this for real??? And yet the game still loads huge amounts of data from the server? If I hadn't seen the numbers, I certainly wouldn't believe this.

I've finally gotten in to the event, but the near constant "something went wrong" when fetching events and trying to claim matches is really bad.  Thankfully I have not experienced any of my wins not being recorded like @Gilesclone has.  That really sucks.

Whatever the error is, it's not even consistent. After the first match pressing "cancel" nevertheless made the win count, after the second match it didn't while the node charge was still reduced. Winning a game is difficult enough already, but afterwards having it counted as a loss really feels incredibly lousy.

This has been going on all day and it's a little disappointing that there's no reply from anybody at D3GO yet. :/

OK here's what I've observed so far over the last 8 games.

Three scenarios after you play a game

    1) normal game end. Points awarded properly
    2) something goes wrong before ribbon award pop-up. Press cancel to return to event screen. Ribbons  awarded anyway. Bonus : coalition rewards are credited twice.
    3) something goes wrong before ribbon award pop-up. Press cancel to return to event screen.
Ribbons are not awarded. Coalition ribbons awarded. Individual rewards are however rewarded the next time (1) occurs so your total score is correct again.

@Ohboy your second scenario should say after instead of before, didn't it?

Yea, I'm just a (MPQ) player volunteer. I got nothing, unfortunately and haven't seen Brigby around all week. Sorry, everyone!

This really must only affect a small portion of players, that includes me, that can not get into HOR. I can play TG,  I can play RatC and I finished my black ToP. But I can not join this coalition event. I really thought there would be major backlash from this but there isn't even a thread for this in the general fourum that I could find.
