Better to have 2 max lvl 3*s or build multiple up gradually?

Hello, in the process of transitioning from a 2* to a 3* roster. Currently have my PunPun and cMags at lvl 111 each and sitting on around 100K ISO, wondering if I should just push to max them out and lean on them or if it's better to gradually level up my other 3*s.

Here are my options:

cMags (5/3/5) lvl 111 max lvl 141
PunPun (5/5/3) lvl 111 max lvl 141
Lazy ShieldBro (2/5/5) lvl 50 max lvl 125
GSBW (5/3/3) lvl 57 max lvl 115
Psylocke (4/3/3) lvl 70 max lvl 102
Hulk (2/3/4) lvl 40 max lvl 89
Ares (5/3/5) lvl 70 max lvl 85

Don't see much point in putting any ISO into hulk until I can get him above lvl 120 when he starts to get scary enough to deter attackers and can tank damage to trigger Anger. Really comes down to cMags/PunPun or GSBW/LazyCap/Psy. Would love to get my Patch in the picture but need a few more covers.

Has anyone had good/bad experiences putting all your ISO into one or two characters and just using them to bring up the others?

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    The overview in stage 3 of my guide (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3939) has my thoughts on this question: I'm in the camp of maxing out 2 3*s (which in your case is pretty easily Punpun/C. Mags).

    If it were another team I would probably lean towards spreading the ISO around a bit based on featured characters, etc. However, you can't go wrong with cMags and Punisher. Of the other characters you mention, only Lazy Thor is in the same class as those two.

    Thanks NP, I actually read your guide a few months ago but back then I was still waiting to max out my 2* roster so I forgot about the valuable 3* advice contained within. cMags and PunPun all the way! icon_cool.gif

    In general? Probably depends.

    But punpun and cmags? Hell yeah max em out

    I used to give ISO to all my chars, depending who was buffed currently, until I read a words of wisdom - "if You're using Punisher all the time with all the buffed chars, why no max him first?". And so I did.

    Imho general rule: try to max Your A-team, then You can spread ISO around.

    And hell yeah - CMags and Pun are toplist to be maxed.
