What kind of player are you?

I'm curious what kind of player you are. I've included some examples below. Use those, or make up your own! Share in the comments section below.
The Collector: It doesn't matter how useless the character is, you have an open roster slot for it. You want them all. But one cover is not enough, no, you need all 13 covers and possibly more (you probably needed to re-spec to the ideal build). In fact, the very idea of selling your 1/5 Yelena (1/5 clearly being her ideal build) is incomprehensible to you! Next week there may be a Yelena PvP tourney where she's buffed 200 levels, after all. X-Force Wolverine? You have two builds going - in case he's ever 'fixed' by the developers you'll be prepared.
The Wizard: It's all about the math, and you get it. When some other idiotic forum member is talking about how awesome The Punisher is because skulls are so cool, you kindly inform them that Lazy Thor is clearly better. When the idiotic forum member starts screaming about attack tiles and strike tiles, you counter with an incomprehensible formula that only a Fields Medal winner could understand and no one could possibly argue against. (X+Y)*3=(20-3)/1,003,628 to the fourth power. Everyone else simply has opinions (usually wrong) but you deal in the one absolute truth: math. This gives you the edge.
The Rhino: Who first said 'The best defense is a good offense' ? It doesn't matter; what matters to you is that it's true. People who believe that building a team for defense are suckers! Every advantage goes to the attacker, and you play to win. The Hulk? Puny. Black Panther? Defense tiles are a joke. And screw strategy! All these wimps out there with their special little countdowns and goofy tiles make you laugh. You want Lazy Thor. You want Classic Magneto. You think Ares is the best 2* guy there is! Hell, GSBW is clearly the best of the three Widows! Maybe she can't heal like OBW, but she'll TinyKitty you up if she can get that sniper of hers off!
The Thanos: Your roster is scary. You have no fear of retaliations because you're playing the current tournament with the ideal three. Your defensive team has a complete Infinity Gauntlet-like rainbow of match damage, a use for every color of AP, and two tanks that will scare away the rubes. Only the most hardcore bad-**** with a maxed 3* team boosted through the roof could ever hope to defeat your defensive unit. You generate more skips than any other player - you're sure of it. Shields are for losers; real players stand firm and look as intimidating as possible.
The Molecule Man: You have all the power a player could hope for, with a roster of maxed 3* characters that are the envy of your alliance. Yet, you choose the path of least resistance. It's so obvious to you. Your motto is: 'Always Be Tanking'. You tank all the time. You retreated in the SHIELD training area religiously. You tank almost every lightning round. You're always losing on purpose... and it works. For the first 500 progression points of every tournament you're fighting 1* teams where the toughest guy is a level 10 Classic Hawkeye. It's laughable, because you have a maxed out team of C.Mags, Black Panther, and Lazy Thor. It's ridiculous how much more powerful you are than them. But why take the hard road when the easy road is so comfortable? Why subject yourself to knock-down drag-out fights against strong opponents? You're not masochistic, after all.

Last week: a committed to the cause, losing sleep, friends and family to score as much as I possibly can for the good of the alliance player. Stressed, exhausted, and not sure when this stopped being fun and became a grind.
(Note: pressure I put on myself. NOT pressure put on me by the alliance. I just didn't want to let anybody down.)
Today: a play for fun, a few rounds at a time, don't really care what I score or where I finish. Relaxed, energised, and enjoying whiling the train journey away with a casual bit of match 3.0 -

The Genius
You understand the various player types but ultimately know that there is no single approach that leads to consistent victory. It is about the right combination in each battle. Sometimes it is about power. Sometimes it is about finesse. Sometimes it is purely patience. You do not need to boost but you do strategically shield. You confidently take on much tougher opponents knowing that sometimes you will lose but your overall trend will be steady progression.0 -
I fit none of yours, Dormammu. Maybe the wizard is closest, but the kind that puts Punisher above LT. Did you get inspired by that topic? viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6672
Actually no, I reread it, Phantron and some other guys are definitely math geeks aka wizards here.
I am the Petty Thief as AP denial is my usual modus operandi.0 -

I'm more a pve player qnd I totally prefer pve rather than the constant worrying about getting hit for points losses. I like the pve as it is like solving a puzzle, how do I beat this op enemy with my current roster? That is the fun part for me.0

Pants-around-my ankles player: Locked in my bathroom, hiding away from my family and friends. I secretly fake stomach ailments so I can grind points in the latest PvP tournament. Only taking small breaks to stand up and let the blood rush back to my legs.0
-
im collector and a suicide bomber i rush in with patches an hulk get green light the fuse and see hulk break out in anger fits quick painfull but so rewarding0
-
The Hawkeye: An opportunist with precise aim and quick strikes. Your roster is not very strong, but you use high-value nodes and rubberbanding to your advantage. Unlike your superhero friends that keep grinding, you stay back and attack only when needed for maximum impact.0
-
The Leader:
Knows his covers and the situation very well and decides that he doesn't need those overestimated guys like LazyThor - actually decides that you do not need any kind of "the one and only best character EVAR!!" but just have a close look on the special abilities and build a team that combines them in a way that makes you finish Top in any event.
Combines a mathematical brilliance that makes the Wizard look like someone who thinks you could earn a Field's medal with enhanced school mathematics with the power to lead. Collects a set of all characters that he can get his hands on, because there is a time and place where their abilities are exactly those which will help you to win your next battle.
...by the way: I think I'm that kind of player.0 -
My wife thought I was a player back in college...0
-
I would like to think of myself as a Wizard type of player, but in reality I'm most likely a Grasshopper.0

The Newly Empowered:
You are Logan when he was only better than some at doing very un-nice things. You are the Balk, a being whose existence is the infintessimal fraction of time between being Banner and the Hulk. You are Peter Parker the day after he was bitten by the spider and realized that sticking to walls was more than just puberty. You experiment with different characters and and builds to find your style. You keep all the characters to see what they can do. You take your beatings, bemoan the lumps and bruises that come come with rising to the challnge, sometimes prospering, but mainly waiting for the day in which you will be a legitimate contender.
Remember with great power comes the need to keep your device charged.0 -
I'm a cowardly Rhino - I go all out on offense but I need my OBW security blanket0

This is so me all over, Paticle man-wise... with the added effect that I'll give the points to forumites if i don't need the points myself
If I've seen you around the forums, you'll be seeing the fruits (getting the points) of my "ABT" / Ghast Method soon enough...
I figure if I can get at least to 900 for Hero Points, but not make it to 1100 (or don't need the cover there) then someone else will probably make better use of the points down the road. Plus I don't have a power Alliance to worry about so I don't have that wrinkle, might as well give points to others. I can always make top 10 later in the tourney anyway for my own satisfaction.0 -

Can I see that punisher vs. L.thor math again, taking into account the expected damage
per turn ratio starting from turn one with each comparative skill...let's say assuming a team of magneto and bp? I run both, logically, to avoid math in general lol.
Also, clearly you didn't mean a wizard. You meant a Mathamagician.0 -
I would say am The Thanos, am a firm believer in using rainbow teams, I don't get attacked often so am assuming am getting a lot of skips while am fighting, however, I do tend to shield once I reach my points goal for the day, so the shields is for suckers thing doesn't apply to me0
