Question Regarding Google+ sync

So, with completely absurd scaling going on...

I am thinking about "removing" the game from my phone completely and than "reloading" and re-syncing with my Google+ account.

How does the sync work and will I lose everything and have to start over (not going to happen) or will it theoretically reinstall and reload my covers, HP and ISO?

Thank you.

(Sorry if nyone has laready answered this or thinks it to be a stupid question. Please save your bashing for PvE or PvP nodes).

  • When you sync with Google + or Facebook, your save essentially becomes a cloud save. So when you reinstall and connect to Google + it will just load that save. It won't help scaling at all, so there's not really a point...

Hey, at this point, I am willing to try anything...

@Devs, you guys want a puppy? Kitten? Scotch?

If you've never done a cloud save before (FB or Google+), there's a chance you'll erase your save game if the uninstaller removes all related app files as well.

He said he was synced with Google +, I think it does the cloud save automatically every time you finish a battle or receive a reward.

It has been my experience that they do not have a mechanism to "save" to Google+ so much as link the account for achievements. I'd rather link to Google, as it is my primary network for nearly everything, but I Facebook linked my wife's account and its kinda stuck that way.
  • I have a question related to this -- does the Google+ sync allow device roaming? I signed on my phone, then installed on my tablet and signed in, but nothing seemed to download and my tablet still took me through the tutorial and dumped me at the "beginner's" screen.

No, but use can use Facebook instead: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4486#p74156

Facebook is for account verification purposes. There's no actual cloud saving or anything going on, but since the saves are on our servers, FB login allows you to show you are who you say you are and get your save file on another or reformatted device. Google allows you to push a save up to their cloud and pull it back down if you change devices and such, but it doesn't allow device roaming per se. They're inter-compatible and do slightly different things.
  • Same thing happened to me. I was synced with google and had to reset my phone, tried to log back in with google, all my saved info gone. . .
  • I think I read this post accurately but want to confirm, the only way to sync multiple devices is through Facebook? Do the devs have any plan on syncing through Google+? Google+ would be my preferred way of syncing the devices.
