End match kill not counting [Devs Aware]

Played a match in HoR in  green node. Using Nissa1 I had Rhonas Indomitable with Reach and another regular 8/8 creature. Killed two creatures midmatch and the last turn I cast Overcome (give all your creatures +8/+8, Trample and Berserker). Rhonas killed a creature and defeated the AI with the trample damage. At the end match summary the last kill didn't add to the count.

It seems that triggers happening when AI reach zero life does not execute since the game ends right away.

I've noticed this before with things like lifelink, you don't get the life from the last damage which still carries on on your planeswalker, but potentially missing out on rewards like this is a more serious example of it.

It also has happened to me twice today. 2 opponent creatures killed in the last turn, win the battle and lost 2 ribbons because those killed crestures did not count to the objectives.

@Brigby are developers aware of this bug?

@rafalele I believe the developers are aware of this, at the very least when it comes to the Battle Log (for instance, last damage dealt to win the game wouldn't show up), however just in case they are unaware this applies to objective tracking as well, I will relay all of this to them today.

    Thanks for the info!

I will throw in some screenshots of this issue occurring. I've known about the lack of Lifelink going through on the finishing blow for quite some time but when something like this directly impacts getting full points in PvP events, I think it's time to bring it up.

That's 3 kills, only counted as two because the next action was the 16/16 Hydra finishing the opponent with 32 damage. The kills should count, but because the turn never "ends" the creatures death isn't resolved and so it doesn't.

Likewise, while the subject is being brought up, if a creature with Lifelink finished an opponent, the creatures Lifelink effect should activate before the match concludes as that can also effect health based objects in PvE and PvP.

    Hi @Brigby

I have realized that the kills that not count in the last turn are those made in battlefield (one creature kills another creature),  if a creature is killed by an spell it counts.

Yes, you're absolutely right. This was identified by our QA team in the past, and there is an open bug report regarding that issue. We will be sure to inform the next development team of this occurrence. Thanks!

The way that is written leads me to believe there isn't a "next development team" in place as of yet.

I was just trying to differentiate between Hibernum and the other development team, that's all.

I hope you understand that every syllable you type will be parsed in order to try and divine the future of the game.

Fair enough! Considering the current state of affairs, I'll be much more precise from now on, lest there is too much room for interpretation.
