Solemnity - Useless?

Solemnity is a rare support card from the new set.  "When your opponent cycles a card, the last card in your opponent's hand is Destroyed"

While a cool concept in theory - this card is broken in that it's effect will never trigger since the AI will not cycle.

Can this card be changed somehow please?  Unless there is word that they plan on implementing the AI to cycle cards.

Wow. That card is useless! I feel bad for anyone who pulls it.

Sorry - I used the search feature and did not see the thread already discussing this.  Devs - feel free to delete this thread if you like.

Gorm - the consensus is that it is useless for a player played card, more or less exists for the AI to use it against you as a stop to players using cycling decks to easily win.  Not a good direction if you ask me - a card that only works in the hands of the AI against the player.  Course, no one will have this in their decks so it won't be used by the AI either except for PVE event decks.

Would be great if you could take the abilities of this card, and replace Aven Mindcensors abilities with it.
Then we'd have a grief card, that still is playable

    What about...

"Whenever your opponent draws a card, if it isn't the first card drawn by your opponent this turn, the last card in your opponent's hand is exiled.

If the idea is to punish players for cycling, then maybe make it more versatile by going after what cycling does: drawing a massive amount of cards. Not only could it hurt cycling strategies when the AI plays it, but also works for players against strategies involving cards like Days Undoing, Combustible Gearhulk, Clue tokens, etc.

I'm intrigued by mindset of someone who thinks this card might be a problem to a cycling deck. 3 different colors have cheap cycling cards that destroy supports, and New Perspectives and Hieroglyphic Illumination are regularly played cards that help you find them... and that's not even including cards which don't have the word 'cycling' written on them, like Pull from Tomorrow or Day's Undoing.

[edit] Oh, and hey! Curator of Mysteries counteracts it, and also beats up your opponent for 6 damage a turn!

It's like how many things negate lil1 skill 1, but the one time out of hundred it causes you the loss, you know exactly what caused you the loss.

No, it's not a hard counter/lock against cycling decks. But it sets up the pieces so a bit of bad luck can really cascade into a catastrophic loss.

Yeah, pulled it this morning. Just now pulled Leave. It looks pretty useless as well except maybe for narrow circumstances.
