A spider is walking around on my monitor like a boss.

Right now he or she is perched directly to the left of the d3 logo at the bottom of the screen. I think it's an American grass spider. That started me thinking about the spider(s) we have in the game. Of all of the current variants of spider(people) currently in MPQ, how would you rank the current available ones? Is there a particular tinykitty you'd like to see? (oops, v-a-r-i-a-n-t got tagged as a bad word by the filter, apparently)

That also made me think of a somewhat related topic - I assume Spiderman variants make up the most significant representation of arthropod-related heroes in Marvel comics - who's number two?

    About time we had some Noir variants.

    Number 2 for me is Iron Spider (Amadeus Cho) from The animated series.

    There are at least 5 Marvel "Scorpion" characters that I know of, tho two of them are from some of the cowboy titles they used to run as rather than the superhero continuity that the game concerns itself with. Even without counting those two, they're probably the next biggest group of arthropod-themed characters.

    Yeah; ants, wasps, and bees (hymenoptera) would be my other guess.
