Might be naive here but how do you use FB with this game if you don't want to be friends with a bunch of people you don't know? Is it even possible?

What many of us have done is create a new, separate FB acct just for MPQ. You will most likely get hit with a "Your account is fake, you must identify all these people on your friends lists by photo/name" test after a couple days though.

    How do you avoid this?

I don't think anybody has figured that out for sure yet, but probably has something to do with adding a ton of people within the space of a couple days.

If I had to do it over again, I would've spaced out adding people to a couple a day, every day, gradually. But I don't know for sure. icon_e_sad.gif

If you get hit with the "Here's a test to see if you're a fake account, identify these photos of friends in your feed" test, try using Google Image Search, and be quick with it…the test also has a time limit that will auto-fail you if you take too long. icon_mad.gif

I just found a friend list exporter app from facebook that will allow you to export an HTML that has the name and pic of the "friend". Then if the question comes up it should be pretty easy to find them all.
  • I just took screenshots of my friends list. Hopefully I will be able to check that quick enough if I need to.
  • sent a group join request from da.elementalor
  • I was able to see people's public photos by visiting their page from the Group page, while taking the identity quiz on another device. After a few tries I manage to get enough right quickly enough to unlock the account.
  • IceIX, got a question for you....can you ask the devs and see if there is a way for the app to only target other facebook users that have the game installed? I'm positive my friend's dog (she made a page for her dog) doesn't play this game.

I doubt that's going to happen. As much as I find that particular aspect distasteful, I think the point of that is to spread word of the game to people that don't currently play.

What's frustrating me is that I have a close friend that does play, but he has somehow gotten off the +3 list and on to the +25 list, so I'm not able to send him rewards with any regularity.
  • Somewhere in the various pages I went through while trying to reactivate my FB account, there was a statement "You should not interact with strangers to gain an advantage in a game". I don't think FB understands how people make new connections. Games are just one of many things that bring together people of similar interests.
