The Hulk PVE: Nevade Sub - Is the location connected to the comics?

in MPQ General Discussion

 So, looking at the background image for the Hulk's event, it really looks like the Nevada sub is an outline of Walker Lake (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walker_Lake_(Nevada)).  Is there some Hulk connection to that lake, is it totally random or am I drawing connections where there are none?

In related news, I apparently need better things to do while waiting for my computer to boot in the morning...

    I'm pretty sure they just grabbed a chunk of a map of Nevada for the background, but I don't know for sure.

    I think it looks more like Lake tahoe to be honest.  but walker lake is only a few
     hours away and roughly the same environment

    Honestly, the fact that it looked like Lake Tahoe is why I actually looked at a map of Nevada in the first place.  If it were Tahoe, the nodes of the event would almost entirely be in California, with Nevada VI being about at Stateline.  Ultimately, it doesn't matter in the slightest, but I didn't know anything about the Hulk comics, so I had no idea if he had a history in Nevada...

    I live in South Lake Tahoe, so I always found it amusing that the path basically goes from emerald bay to the Highway 50 y and then to the casinos!!!

    On the last day, Nevada 2.0 map has the bonus mission that roughly corresponds to incline village.
