4* DDQ: Spider-Woman vs Elektra

Lv 188 3/5/5 Spider-woman had no trouble. Board was very kind, starting me off with match-5 red, then just go after red and purple. Placed fear trapped tiles, one of which was placed on a match-4 line, forcing Elektra to make the match and eat roughly 5200 damage which was about half her health at that point.  Shortly after that was able to down her with system shock. Had over 9200 health remaining for me.

LT was champed Agent Venom

I crashed and burned with my LVL 162 4/4/1 Spider Woman. You need to deny red at all costs in this one. If she gets eight red, her trap steals everything you need to use your abilities, and feeds everything she needs for hers. I was doing a good job at keeping her from red until the board reshuffled and gave her a red match-4, which sparked a match-3 on the new row that came down. After that, it was game over.

Edit - One of the guys in my alliance just said her beat her with his LVL 94 Spider Woman. She's covered at 4/5/4. I posted back "I hate you. :-P"

I absolutely mopped the floor her. My Spider Woman is 2/5/3 lvl 209 and I beat Elektra before she could even fire off any of her powers. All I did was deny, get my purple, plant my trap tiles and wait for her to play in to my hand. I barely lost like 1500hp during the fight.

My LT was a black Agent Venom putting him at 5/3/2

Didn't want to put any ISO into my lv70 5/5/3 Spider-Woman. Beat Elektra on the sixth try boosting +2 b/p, +2 g/b, +2 rainbow. Managed to do it by firing Love & Fear twice, blanketing the board in trap tiles. Banking the LT until I catch up a little on champing 4*s.

Took me 3 attempts with my 5/4/3 SW, bumped her up to level 250 after losing the first two times. Getting Electra to match my trap tiles was the key, as others have also said.

1st try with my 5/5/3 level 100. Boots b/p, b/g, and all ap.

It really helps that their colors match up, but the trick was going after black and red collecting a little purple along the way to cast fear.

I have a championed Spider-Woman around 283 and it still took me two tries. The first board was terrible, no AP matches in our colors on my turn and was forced to make moves that set Elektra up. Once she had Shadow Step going and Ballet stealing my AP, it was a done deal. On the second attempt, I got some Fear tiles out and was able to leave a 4-match for her that would hit two trap tiles.

    LT became Sandman Green.

Champed Jessica wiped the floor with Elektra. I cast fear, she cast double double cross and then kindly matched two trap tiles. Game over.

Beat her with my lvl 70 spiderwoman although she is fully covered and used boosts. Managed to hit her with red then she matched a couple of my traps to down herself. Got a riri champ lvl

    Level 188
    4/3/2

This is one of the most annoying ones I have done so far.

Ballet of Death constantly steals your mana while being placed on one of three different tiles. Which powers her Shadow Step. Which you need to ping 5 times, while taking damage, if you can't grab the black matches. Not to mention your best way of dealing damage to her, unless your red is fairly high and even then that's a fairly expensive ability, is to constantly use Fear and hope she matches them.

It felt like a very luck based fight for me.

Level 271 Jessica. Started off with a **** board but then I was able to match enough purples to lay down some traps. And naturally they were placed in horrible spots so I collected black until I could try to set them up for her to match away. Fired off my black then she matched back to back match 4s with traps. Goodbye Elektra and hello to a legendary for a possible future Vulture.

My SW is level 280 so hard to gauge what the minimum requirement would be for this one. Gathered enough red for one system shock and then just matched away til it was over. Couldn't be happier with my LT results either. Got the one required Green R&G to bring him to 5/5/3!! and scored a Drax Black as a Bonus Hero!

My 5/5/3 Level 280 SW got it first try, no boosts, with about half her health left (7522). I briefly thought about respecing to 3/5/5, but figured I would only if I didn't get it first try.

Only dumb move on my part was firing System Shock after she had done Shadow Step. I stunned her and got two free turns, but the damage was negated and some was inflicted on me to boot. I used Fear and after matching two of the traps, Elektra was down for the count. LT to the hoard.

Ugh. What a stupid gimmicky luck fight. With a champed SpiderWoman (L287 my highest character) it took my 5 tries and the 5th was an easy win. The first 4 she refused to hit any of my trap tiles unless she was shadow stepping (and frequently shadow step would kill one or two when fired). Never got enough ap for her red in any of the 5 matches.

I expected this this to be a breeze as most of the matches with a champ have been and she's a good 10 levels a head of most of my champs. Instead I burned 4 health packs and 45 minutes. Did not enjoy this.

Won, first try without boosts, L273 respec her to 3/5/5.

Good starting board for purples, but bad placement on the traps with nothing close to match their colors, had to setup 3/4 matches for the AI to trip them, the fight lasted 8 mins, and no single powers used by Electra/Spiderwoman after the traps was laid.

    LT stockpiled.

Boosted my 4/4/5 Jessica to 130, and was surprised how smooth it went. I guess the fact they share red/purple/black helped a lot. Got enough purple to set two sets of traps. It was amazing watching Elektra bend over backwards to dodge matching the first set of traps, but she couldn't avoid them once there were 8 on the board.

Reward was my 14th 5* Hawkeye. I was holding off champing him, since I already have three 5*s and don't want my scaling to go any higher, but I guess I'm on the clock now.

No luck with this one so far, but it seems like it should be possible. Casting black only after she casts hers has helped a lot so far, but not quite enough to get to the finish line. My Spiderwoman is 4/3/2. I've been boosting +2 B/P, +2 all AP, +60% damage.
First try: level 144 - got her down to 1078, then out came Shadow Step when I had no black to block the damage.
Second try: level 166 - only got her down to 6200 - she got out a red fairly early and it chewed me up, as well as hampering me from getting AP.
Third try: level 188 - got her down to 3848. Things were going pretty well until she landed a horrific cascade - that let her cast ballet of death twice, and double double cross three times over the course of three turns.
Fourth try: Got her! I had her down to 542 health, and she had 10 black - I thought I was a goner, but for some reason my black match 3 did 542 damage - not sure exactly what happened, as I didn't see any cascades. My reward was a champ level for 4Blade.

This is literally the most annoying fight for me. It's even worse than the ones I can't ever hope to win like level 90 hulkbuster vs hulk or the ones where I get bursted down if they ever fire a skill.

I have a level 115 spider-woman with 3/5/0. My plan is to place traps with purple and stall with black and then pray for elektra to match my traps and die. The problem is that her black denies the damage from my traps, so I need a ton of luck to pull this off. So I need to get a lot of purple Ap and then pray she doesn't get black AP while at the same time I get lucky enough for her to kill herself.

The boards were bad for me, most of the time I had no matches or only matches that would set a good match for Elektra, sometimes I was really really close until she used her black.

I could finally win with +2 black +2 purple with 100% match damage. My prize was a Medusa champ level, which is not that bad.

280 Jessica.  Cruised in one attempt.  Elektra got shadow step off but matched away enough for it to be negated quickly.  I came out of it with purple and red to attack.  Red crippled her, she un stunned and walked into a trap.

Elektra always has been an always will be at this rate an extremely annoying one on one character who can more or less go invincible for a few turns along with fueling her powers endlessly if you can't remove the trap tile.

    Purple packs the most punch.
Spiderwoman black makes you invincible for a few turns because elktra has no high powered moves BUT you don't want this battle to last long.

Third time was the charm for my 2/2/1 Lvl111. Took a bunch of boosts on that third try, too, but I'd spent the first couple getting a feel for the match without boosts, and lucked into a good board for that third one.

Token was a Riri red, taking her to 3/4/3, so I should be able to Champ her after the next Sinister 6.
