Confused about XP

Little confused about how u gain XP on PVE. The stardard is 10 xp when u do the clears from 1-6. But sometimes I don't get any at all. Is that a probability involved?. On the other hand, PVP always gives 2 xp per match.
If anyone can clarify that for me. Thks in advance.

    You should get the 10 xp when you win the last reward from a PVE node. In DDQ the node is done after 1 play, and in most story events the nodes are done in 6, or 4 for wave nodes. Basically, you get the XP when the node is checked off either red or green. I've never seen a case where XP wasn't awarded at these times, although I have occasionally missed seeing the graphic.

    Yes,  you get the 10 xp as the last reward.  If you highlight each node,  you will see a counter 0/6 for a fresh node,  0/1 for a 1 time only node. 0/4 on wave nodes (not sure about this one I could be wrong)  in any case you get the XP when finish the counter for each node.
