Gids3 forged by might buffing opponent's creatures instead!!

Sandwurm convergence disabled my 2 flyers. I decided to use "forged by might" on my 8/8 oketra's attendant expecting to buff my 4/4 sacred cat. Instead it buffed my opponent's creatures. I lost on the next turn. I did the math and 8/8 + 3/3 opponent's creatures did receive my buff. My sacred cat stayed a 4/4.
