About Story, how much clearance is necessary for max progression?

I read this thread:

it says "The number of times each repeatable mission needs to be completed to receive the top progression reward has been increased to 5 times (from 4)."

So does it mean that if I clear all missions 5 times, (regardless of full point regeneration) i can get the final progression reward?

Also the "join forces" missions need 3 clears and wave missions only need 2.

Are join forces the missions with the featured characters as the only requirement or the one that has all 3 required characters at the start of nodes?
