Has anyone leveled a 4* to 230?

  • I was thinking about X-Force Wolverine...since his yellow ability is countdown-based healing, they should do something to make it really appealing. For instance, they could make it so that his countdown tiles persisted after his death and would heal him back from zero. This would make those long counts potentially useful, and make Wolverine potentially immortal unless you took him out last. Wouldn't make him desirable, but it would allow him to do something cool and unprecedented--which is what you want from a 4* character.

I want to level-up my Invisible Woman, but I've only been able to get two tinykitty covers for her. I want to pair her with Johnny and She-Hulk and be the first to field an all-FF team, but alas it will be (at minimum) months before my IW is ready to go.

My X-Force Wolvie is currently 5/3/3 and I won't waste a single point of ISO on him until changes are made, IF changes are made.
    How dare you forget Bag-Man

That's.... not actually a bad idea. No clue if the game mechanics can allow someone to return from being "downed" once there, but that would indeed be a key differentiation mechanic for him versus his 2** and 3*** incarnations. Many times in the comics, Wolverine has returned from a "downed" state at a key moment to turn the tide of a battle.

That could make covering yellow worthwhile beyond the currently obvious 5/5/3 build to max out strike tile capability and slash damage, if a 5 yellow build would allow self-resurrection or drastically reduces the timer on a resurrection CD tile if the base yellow ability is changed to allow it at any number of yellow covers.
  • i'd max iw if her green didn't end the turn or create bubbles when there aren't any. can't imagine the ai would use her abilities very well.
  • totaly worthless. dont get them. waste of resuorces.

^ correction: for a transition player, a waste. 1* > 2*, 2* > 3*. If you have all the 3*s that you need, you may consider leveling 4*s for kicks. But a single 4* requires as much ISO as 2x 3*s, so there's that. Truly demanding characters icon_razz.gif
  • I plan to level Nick Fury to 230 when I get the covers. Am I alone in thinking that he actually looks really good, given his castable AP costs combined with 230 stats? I mean for crying out loud, his 2-cover-purple creates a 147 strength strike tile at level 30. I invite you to compare that to a max-level psylocke, for example.

I certainly plan on doing the same. I'm already trying to think of how I could build a team around him with the current crop of characters. Too bad it's probably at least 2 months away...

I just wish we knew how the ability that calls in other heroes works. That could be an interesting 1.
  • This person slobofix's has both IW and xforce maxed out
  • I think match damage should be buffed at the least on 4* characters. Currently match damage looks like this:

    1 star (level 50): 31/27/24
    2 star (level 85): 50/45/39
    3 star (level 141): 67/60/52
    4 star (level 230): 70/62/55

    So a 19 damage increase from 1* => 2*, a 17 damage increase from 2* => 3* and a 3 damage increase from 3* => 4*.

I've got IW to level 174 (3/5/5) but I'm mostly leveling her just to have a maxed 4* even though nearly all 3*s are better.
  • Ya, Slobofix from the SLAUGHTERKINGS alliance has maxed IW and X-Force and most maxed out 3*. icon_eek.gif I'd have to take out a loan to get enough ISO/HP to do that.

He's at the top of my Season 1 bracket. Since we're pretty sure he's not a cheater, my theory is that he's a Saudi prince that happens to like Marvel.

I've heard people dealing in illegal activity like to buy up game currencies since it's one of the few way to spend your money without getting tracked.

Wouldn't that only work if the IGC could be converted back into real-world currency? Unless he's farming & selling alliances, or selling player accounts, I don't see how he could do that, even "unofficially."

Nobody said the bad guys can't enjoy playing MPQ or other P2W games as their past time!
