How is PVP defensive team worked out?

Hi, as the title says, how is this calculated? Is it literally just done on the sum of the three highest level characters you've played with as a team in that event? Cheers.

For the most part, it's the last team you won a match with. The exception is Retaliation matches, where they go up against the team you beat them with.

That's interesting, I thought they'd changed it to the highest level team you'd used during the event. I just wanted to check for the nefarious foes event as my highest level team that I used wasn't necessarily the best defensively. Thank you.

The only time they do that is if the team you used most recently is hugely weaker than previous trams.  They haven't defined "hugely" in any precise terms, but in practice it'll only come up if you're actively trying to make your defensive team absurdly weak. For anyone who is just playing PVP with their best, second best, third best teams, your defensive team will simply be whoever you used last.

Does anyone know about the power levels on the defensive team? Often, I find myself using the same boosted 4*s in PVP and PVE but at different power levels. For example, I may use C4rol 5/3/5 in PVP and 5/5/3 in PVE. Would the defensive team in PVP use the last configured levels (5/3/5 in this example) or the current levels (5/5/3)? My guess is the latter, but I would really like for it to be the former.

Teams are what you last won a match with in the current game mode.

I wonder what is taken into account when computing hugely weaker.

I often use three 5* characters with 1-2 covers to win some of the easy matches (seed teams) or against teams with Strange when I know I can quickly match him to death then use their weak covers to finish off the rest.

Then I'll switch to my fully covered characters that are boosted into the 180-200 range for some battles.

I'd love to know if my defensive team is the 3 under powered 5* or the boosted fully covered characters in the 180-200 range that would be much stronger.
