Roster Help - Save CP or Not?

I started saving CP about a week or so ago, and am at 222 already through various means after getting enough covers to max Peggy Carter and 4* Captain Marvel. I was saving CP maybe with the hope of better odds when 4* rotate, but I don't know if there really is a point.

Right now I have the odds from a 20 CP legendary token of getting 13 useful covers out of a possible 36 covers for the 13 available 4*. When Gwenpool rotates, at least I could "use" any Sandman cover. The vault rotates so slowly though, if I never use the CP then I don't know the point.

I do PVE to progression and PVP to 575, but don't play competitively anymore - haven't for about a year and a half.

My roster is below, I have 1 5* covermaxed and am only missing one 5* completely, have 28 champed 4*. I just don't see any fun in playing unless I champ a new character, otherwise it's the same old same old.

Any advice on what to do with the CP? Just use them anyway?
