Did those developers increase ToZ boss hp?

I hope not.  Considering the overwhelming opposition to 4 hr refreshes, that would literally be the worst change possible.

One thing is for sure - this event is running much longer than last week.  If it is not a boss HP increase, it is lower participation.  Neither is good.

I am one of the game's most active players.  I have not missed an event, or even a refresh (other than last weekend's Father's Day debacle) since the start of the coalition system.  I have played every ToTP, TG (and QB) since they started.  I am a failed Not Another Dimer.

@Brigby @LakeStone Running another 4 hour refresh will drive even more people away.  I, for one, cannot do another one.  That is how you lose your best customers - by giving them an opportunity to discover something else.

PLEASE FIX THIS BEFORE ANOTHER ToZ RUNS

It is summer.  Spending time outside with my family will always beat a mobile game.  I have an all or nothing personality.  I won't play halfway.  I am competitive.  I have disposable income.

I can only agree to this. Wasn't there a poll somewhere that showed that most player did NOT want a 4 hour refresh? Now I play until 750 and I'm done. Before, I believe it was with the old Revenge against the Consulate, I played even after final progression reward, because it was easier to keep up the pace with the 8 hour timers. Sorry for ToZ... I have a personal life as well.

I think this event is seeing flight. It is to much, 4 hour recharge rate is way to much. When I finally got a chance to play catch up yesterday I just stared at the 4 full charges AND 2 full on NoP. Sure the charge fill up is partially my fault, but I am an active player and I am having a terrible time keeping up. The most important piece to that is it is at a point of do I want to keep up. So I started and as I sat with well over the max regression still 7% remaining and 2 full charges remaining, I just stopped. I feel that I am similar to you spesler and not into half measures. It takes a lot to kill a game, but I think 4 hour recharge may be the icing on the cake. I have Argued for weeks that people aren't leaving as stated on these forums, I will now admit I am certainly wrong. What was wrong with the RaTC format? These events are long past fun. If you are in a top 25 Coalition you are competitive so you go for max points and we all have a few decks each player prefers in this regard. Then you have the opposite end where you have all new to intermediate players that could test except 2.1,2.3 and 3.x may just still be to powerful for them in general. (A little salty about 2.1 blasting me for 65 damage in one turn out of nowhere, but it happens.) This limits the ability to win and losing is fine but in regards to those players it is not fine nor fun if you basically always lose.

I expect what's probably happened is the the boss health has remained the same, but less players are playing the event, so health is being reduced slower.

It has been remarked upon elsewhere what a silly system boss health is.

That was my assumption as well. As fewer people become interested in the hamster wheel, the boss dies more slowly.

I joined the event 48 hrs after it started and managed to hit the second to last progression tier. Had I stayed awake for the final refresh at 1 a.m., I could have hit 750 points. That should never happen.

The 4 hour recharges are awful @brigby.  They really are weekend ruining.

I mean, the decks required to get max objectives are largely cycling based.   Which means each match will likely take 30 mins on node 3.  All of the node 2 objectives require substantial stalling.  It literally takes most of our waking hours just to clear nodes.  Makes me not want to play at all.

I got up Sunday morning, played for 7 hours (didn't clear my nodes), went to a family dinner, came home, played an additional 3 hours (finally clearing my nodes), took a nap, got up at 12:50 AM finished off the last refresh.

@Brigby: I don't know if you have already given a statement to this, but it seems that the majority of the players (at least the players that vented their opinion) are sick and tired of this 4 hour refresh. What is the current status regarding the recharge rate of the nodes in this event? Are there any plans to change it back to 8 hours? I don't mind if the event runs longer. At least then I will play the event until the end because it will be easier to keep up with it. In the current state I play until 750. As majincob points out, and that's also my personal experience, it takes hours to clear the nodes. Right after you've cleared the nodes, they are recharged again. You can't expect people to waste their entire weekend playing this event only. It increasingly feels like a chore. I want to play this game because it's fun to do and I can tell you the way this event is set up, it definitely isn't fun.

Hi Everyone. I'm not sure what the plans are for the next Trial of Zeal, however I will be including all of this feedback in this week's report to the developers.

Definitely move to 6 or 8 hours. 4 hours is rough.

+1 for 6 or 8 hour refreshes.  6 would be a more incremental change, so I'd lean towards that and see how it goes.

And again 4 hours... how tiresome.

@Brigby: any news from the developers after passing the information? I really would like to play all nodes but I don't want to keep up with this 4 hour recharge.

4 hours...and even longer duration than last weekend. While I imagine that this is caused by fewer people playing, it does make me feel like I am also burning out on the event as the 4 hour reset simply devours time in the weekend for those in a competitive coalition.

After a weekend of ToZ, I have absolutely no desire to play the game until ToA rolls around each week. It just strangles any enthusiasm I have.

@madwren - I think we will have a one weekend reprieve from ToZ this weekend with N3 hitting the vault. I know it's a small consultation. The timer really does need to stretch out.

Thanks @Brigby. It will be nice to change things up a bit.
