    As a note, 2* storm hits way above her weight and has use as you move to 3* land. Don't underestimate the power of stun.

    As an example, there are nodes in the Hulk event where the enemy is just one overleveled 3* Hulk. Invariably for those nodes, I pull out what I call the "Stun Queens" (2* Storm, 3* Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch). I do this even today when I could run a 4* team against him. 

    As to the original question, until you have a broad 3* roster and can run multiple teams to counter the opponents, PVE can be difficult. Then it get easier (and then it'll get harder, but that's not today's problem, and that will be solved if we get to SCL based scaling).
