The maths behind character (im)balance

*** at level 100 have been assumed on the forums to be roughly equivalent to ** at 85. Verification:
Max ** Thor -> Max *** Thor gives ~134% tile damage, 163% HP, and on skills:
Red: ~180%
Yellow: ~290%
Green: ~190%
Now before someone says that it's because *** skills are just better than ** skills, let's take a look how top of the line post-balance skills compare between the two tiers at max level
For simplicity's sake, compare as close to pure damage skills as possible
Axm Wolvie's red: 240 dmg/AP
Cap's red: 312 dmg/AP, or a 130% increase
HT's red: 361 dmg/AP, or a 150% increase (200% increase if you count the refund AP, although HT's HP class is well below AXM's.)
Even if lazythor's HP was lowered to Cap's level, his skills are nowhere near the other three stars or ** Thor at equivalent levels
If his release follows existing formulas for characters before and after his releases, his yellow should do 1100 less damage, and his green 1200/600 less respectively
Either that or two star thor is horrifically underpowered and needs a buff
tl;dr
lazythor op
lazycap surprisingly not
if anyone wants to extend this further to other characters it would be interesting to see
Level 100->141 on a *** gives ~130% tile damage, ~138% skill damage, and ~140% HP While skills aren't comparable in general because demiurge doesn't like characters to share powers, moving from max ** Characters -> *** characters give ~134% tile damage and ~160% HP So while comparing 100 *** to 85 ** isn't entirely accurate, seems relatively close to the 100->141 transition.

Red: ~180%

I think it's good LT is superior to some other 3* characters in stats considering he is a god flavor-wise. 2* Thor might have been nerfed too much especially since most people consider Ares to be better than him now. That is not necessarily a bad thing though.0
