Roster Advice

What should I be focusing on, which characters work well together? My 3 star covers are all over the place not enough of any of them to make them useful unfortunately. Also if there are any changes that should be made to which covers I use that'd be nice to know too.

    Highly effective 2* teams:

    OBW + AWolv + Thor: perfect rainbow of color priority, OBW heal/steal + double-hits on AWolv strike tiles. Ares can sub in for Thor, but you have a much bigger Thor.
    C.Storm + MN Mags + [someone]: MN Mags purple feeds C.Storm blue. C.Storm blue murders everything. Beware, this team is terrible on defense, because the AI is literally the worst at tile placement for tile-placing powers like MN Mags purple. When the AI plays this combo, MN Mags will not feed C.Storm blue at all.

    Optimal cover distributions:

    OBW - 3/5/5 - You want max healing, quick stealing, and double-hitting with Espionage. She is your most important 2* in general.
    AWolv - 5/5/3 - Damage maximization.
    Thor - 3/5/5 - Red is weak, yellow feeds green, green murders everything.
    Ares - x/x/5 - You want to minimize the Sunder countdown. Otherwise, all three Ares powers are great. He's fun to play, and quite intimidating.
    C.Storm - x/5/x - Her blue is, by far, her best power.
    MN Mags - 3/5/5 - Purple feeds C.Storm, red generates AP when it detonates, while blue does not.

    I would only add that Modern Storm can be a pain in the **** and now that the dessert is available in PvP, You should consider running with OBW (355) + MStorm (553) + either Wolvie (553) or Thor (355) (preferably). This team composition does not fear almost anything and can easily take down even lvl 100+ teams.
    Not to mention the Neverending Last Turn(c) - once You have all the AP needed, the opponent will never get another turn. Thus You end the battle with more health.

    I've already figured out storm is really good with oasis, but still struggle to beat teams of 100+, maybe because I just recently leveled up thor and haven't tried much since then. I can see how his yellow ability in addition to oasis would fuel storm pretty well. really need to get the rest of the covers for original black widow, she seems amazing for fighting multiple battles in online events.

    OBW is likely the most intimidating 2* character in the game. For some people, Ares may be more intimidating, but L85 OBW is a deterrent against even L100+ teams. Unless you have your own OBW or Hood, or massively outclass the enemy, you know you're in for a painful fight if OBW manages to use Aggro Recon.

    Thor Y will fuel MStorm, but I'd take the massive damage of Call the Storm over a few more endless turns any day.
