Do something about pvp matchmaking

Anything.  I have no 5s, the pvp I was in did not seem to give me any super high level characters.  It did not boost everyone to level 500. But my mostly 3  star roster was facing level 300+ thanos and black panther. How is this in any way feasible?  If player x has no five stars then don't match them vs 2 five stars. I'm sure that's easy to code.
