Untested Bromance

So I champed Iron Fist Danny and Luke C4ge.  I was pretty excited to immediately jump into a couple of fights to try them out. But it is entirely pointless.

Where am I supposed to play?

Keep in mind, I have a single champion 5 :star: As such, they are useless in Shield Simulator because every team has at least one champed 5 :star: and they MIGHT survive one fight. The first three nodes in any PvE is too easy to get any use from them.
The last four nodes basically require you play your boosted characters.

It's basically the same story, its about this week's flavor. Non-boosted characters aren't played. Those who are played are supplement characters.

Maybe once this season is complete they'll both be boosted for the Team Rainbow  PvP, or whatever it is called.

sigh.

There are of course many ideas to resolve this:

How about another DDQ node. Replayable. Randomly assigned opponents based on the level of characters presented. Reward can be 100 ISO. I can't imagine that being game breaking.

PvP event with brackets based on level. Maybe make it a lightening event. How well can you place in the next two hours?

    Join a bracket with level mins and caps. 100-150; 151 - 200; 201 - 269; 270-300; ETC

Honestly,  you need to wait for a pvp that features a strike tile generator.  Then run your bromance team when either 4cage or hobo fist is boosted.

You will rarely if ever see synergized pairs buffed at the same time.  They specifically choose the buff list to avoid that situation.

From a design perspective they want you to evaluate this trade off.

boosted 4* with generic 5* vs boosted 4* with synergized 4*.

I imagine that they specifically want to avoid 2 boosted 4* because they easily outfight 5* combos.  especially if the boosted 4* can fire their powers first.

They work best with at least 1 goon on the other side, or someone who produces strike/protect tiles at a very fast rate. Honestly, this is mostly because of D4nny.

Blue - Best if you already have at least 1 strike tile on the board, which C4ge does not produce. This means that you otherwise need to use this ability twice in a row to get the full effect. Granted, gathering 12 blue AP isn't always hard, but it'd still be nice to only have to fire this once.

Black - Again, the power isn't useless if you don't have x amount of protect tiles out, and I don't think the amount of damage done is based on the amount of tiles converted, but it'd still work best if you have someone that pops them out quickly. C4ge can do so if you're up against a goon dropping CDs, but otherwise C4ge doesn't put them out quickly enough against tilemovers unless they have very cheap abilities.

The only reason I bring this up is because of C4ge's yellow. That's really the big KO punch at the end of all this, so the more fortified tiles the better. C4ge can produce protects, and D4nny can flip them to strike tiles, but someone who produces strike tiles quicker than D4nny would be ideal.
