Changing coalition name

Two issues. First can you change your name back to one you had before? I tried but it keeps saying name in use.

Second when the name change fails it still takes your crystals.  That sucks.

Yes i put in a ticket for the second thing.  I just want to know about the first.

    Maybe another player decided to use your old coalition name, in that case this name is no longer available. 

    Regarding the second issue I agree with you you should only pay for a successful change.

    Hi @ReddMaxx I'm sorry to hear your crystals were still taken even when a name change fails. I'll relay this to the developers, and see if there is any way they can prevent that from happening in the future.

    also, can we add the feature to change leaders?  or at least assign officers?  it would seem our leader is MIA due to the recent update-ery...  we're a fairly high ranked coalition, and i don't want to abandon it...

    @Brigby along with what Yvendros is saying, could you suggest the ability for a leader who is leaving to select who the next leader will be? I think it's currently based on total lifetime ribbons.

    that was a question i had, but didn't want to test.  if the leader leaves the coalition, i assumed the coalition would dissolve.  is this not the case?

    @Yvendros thankfully, it doesn't dissolve. As long as the leader is able to log on and click the 'leave coalition' button themselves, the crown just gets passed on to the highest scorer in the group. If you want a specific person to take over, you just have to make sure they have more points than everyone else when the current leader leaves. 

    Currently the easiest way to do that is have everyone with higher scores than the desired predecessor leave the coalition and rejoin before the current leader leaves.

    You could also send a ticket to support and ask to change coalition leader - it take some time but it worked in our case (BlackLotus).
