Nodes of power

There it is - a legacy PvP event, giving out rewards from the respective set, something that has been demanded multiple times.
Loving it!
But still, developers denied that there are plans for an event like that only yesterday?
Mysterious!

Yeah.... now if they can only add a standard only TG... then I'll call all of this a win. As of Right now it is more or less pandering to the legacy mythic collection of mass purportion players... this includes the present state of TG. It has no bearing on new players or any of those not in coalitions that have been receiving mythics of insane numbers from god knows when. Don't get me wrong,  this is a good thing for players of that level.  It's needed, but even those in the higher class level of play must recognize a need for events geared more for equality rather than quantity of quality.

"But still, developers [won't mention any plans] for an event like [Standard TG as of yet]?

Thank god it's BFZ. I love the set and I lack some good rares from it. If it were SOI the rare would've been useless as I own all SOI rares. But that's just me of course.
All in all thanks for keeping nodes legacy. I don't mind the new Standard, but every now and then it's great to be able to use our collection in events too.

I love it as well. Just being able to use Devils playground makes me happy lol

I wouldn't mind a standard only tg, but it honestly doesn't matter much. I don't struggle with standard decks in tg unless they're mono g, or the ai cascades all over the place. But in that situation, you're losing anyway. I like bringing things like nodes back

When I saw the NoP was "legacy"  (I like to call it Wild)  it kinda turned me off.

There is nothing more boring than knowing you will be running into that small subset of cards that everyone uses.

All I had to do was literally build decks against that small subset, and, I was not disappointed.

If you think you will see more diversity with all cards available you are in for a surprise.  There are cards that players just can't seem to live without.

I would have much preferred a rotating Nodes of Power where the block restriction rotates between the sets.

We already see this in TG. Same boring subset of cards... Olivia this,  piggy that,  emmurakhul this and so on.

Love it. But I guess restricting it to just BFZ and origins block wouldn't be too bad. But some of the objectives will have to go because the event was reworked during KLD keeping in view the SOI block.

Also if olivia, pig and Emmy are boring than dont use them. Instead use those innovative decks that you want to face. Someone has to enter them.

After finishing all my charges : I found it kind of refreshing. I like standard, I'm okay with most events beeing restricted, but aPvP event with no restrictions from time to time is something I hope to see also in the future!

I really enjoyed NoP.  I like standard, but being able to unleash the big guns again was refreshing.

My only complaint is that they keep restricting the rare rewards to the sub-block (AER or OGW) instead of allowing us access to the entire KLD or BFZ block.  This is annoying as OGW did the same thing and most of us likely already have every rare card from the set.  However, I would much prefer a shot at some Desolation Twins or From Beyond which still elude me.

Anyway, NoP or Arena are welcome changes to the FirFing EMO standard garbage.

I have all the OGW I need. Bring back the BFZ rares.

So I earned a pack, but when I went to collect the award, it opened the pack in the collect rewards screen instead of crediting a pack to the vault.

@Brigby - Will this be the method going forward?  No more pack hoarding?

A least you got your reward. I was shown Ayli Eternal Pilgrim as an award but it does not appear in my card list. Ticket submitted.

That's a good question. I'll be sure to ask the developers. Just to make sure though, were you still able to collect your cards, even with the new pack opening location?

I've collected my rewards from inbox and had BFZ pack waiting in vault

It opened like a rare card award, but it was the contents of a pack. I got five bursts of single cards. I think it matched what I expected except that it wasn't a pack put in the vault.

Hmm..that's peculiar. I passed that info along to the developers. Perhaps they have some more insight. I'm glad you at least received the appropriate rewards still though.
