Besides, the entire series can be summed up pretty easily:

In which case it's still over a decade old. I guess no one reads books anymore. Which is good considering how that series is determined to crush my humanity. Good thing Martin's never going to finish it. Dude writes books slower than Steven King does (and it took him about 30 years to finish his Dark Tower series).
