    psst, it's Joffrey icon_e_wink.gif

and option 5 should be "Being Sean Bean....in any movie" icon_e_wink.gif

option 6 doesn't work because unlike scaling there are actually people out there who like that...

Where's the option 'like having Shyamalan to film The Last Airbender'?

It like watching DragonBall Evolution or The Last Airbender or any asian-influence cartoon/anime movie made with white actor. It's painful and discriminating and make you hate something you love so dearly.
  • Dude. Spoilers!

There are also people who like the scaling. Maybe they're the same people, liking it for the same reasons.
  • Why are there GoT spoilers on this forum? I thought this place would be safe!

The book is close to 20 years old. I'm not sure that really counts as a spoiler. icon_razz.gif For that matter, season 1 aired 3 years ago. Also, not really spoilers.

Besides, the entire series can be summed up pretty easily:
Everyone dies. If you like them, they die quickly. If you don't like them, they die slowly. If they show up for more than 2 pages, they die also. Unless they're just maimed and/or crippled. Then they'll die later.

  • Ned Stark is the perfect analogy; an inimitable combination of determination, resignation, anger and futility.
  • I don't think it's any of these, scaling isn't fatal or painful, just really really annoying and unnecessary.

Hence my suggestion would be "Being stuck in the company of Ruby Rod from the Fifth Element"

I think they meant the first one, that's less than 2 weeks fresh....

In which case it's still over a decade old. icon_e_smile.gif I guess no one reads books anymore. Which is good considering how that series is determined to crush my humanity. Good thing Martin's never going to finish it. Dude writes books slower than Steven King does (and it took him about 30 years to finish his Dark Tower series).

To be fair, Steven King wrote like 4,500 books during those 30 years.

Hey, just like Stephen King, GRRM saw the icy hand of death coming for him and vowed to rush out the end of his opus

That can't count as a spoiler, it's spelled wrong.
  • forgot one, tying to pass a thorny vine out through your anus. or alternatively having one passed into your urethra
  • I relate to taking care of a sick baby.

    Not something you enjoy ever.
Not something you expect to happen to yourself, until first time it hits
Not something you are excited about in the future, even though you know it's going to happen.
You just know others have it easier.
You know there are others that have it worse
Even though you hate it you do it because it's something you care about a lot.
You think there's someone out there that could make it better if you paid enough.

You know if you had to do it all over again, you'd do everything just as you did last time!
..but this time you would know..
