Game update release during a match = a forced match loss - fix this!

Seriously, most mobile games I played are far far more customer friendly. Even in cases of crashes they don't count it as a loss, they can be so customer friendly it becomes abusable. But in MTGPQ there's NONE of that. Anything bad happen, no matter who's fault, it's always a forced loss. And maintenances or updates forcing client close is the worst of all. There's zero possibility of abuse so it's a must have fix.

Actually it would be pretty easy to abuse. If loosing just do not complete your turn. There is strong chance that something is wrong happens.
But it could be possible to set maintenance window with some info pushed to players in advance (30 minutes earlier)

You say that like no other game dev in the last 25 years has ever tried to solve that problem.

And still there is no perfect solution...  But honestly - either it's pve where save is allowed or pvp where failure or connection problems equals death or other looses.  Thing is that part of the game (state of board) is rather client side so it would be hard to reconnect after breaking connection
