Anyone know when new characters will be introduced in Crash of Titans?

Since I started to follow the postings here in the forum, including the tips in:
https://forums.d3go.com/discussion/58605/complete-ddq4-crash-guide-tips-for-all-matchups/p1

I've never seen any other characters included, even those that already existed before I started playing (Agent Venom, War Machine, Blade, Gwenpool, Wasp, Cage, and Spider Woman)

I already looked for any kind of post talking about this release but I did not find it

They're added to rotation after their 2nd reward in PvE.  Most of the newer ones have run through the 2nd time recently so they'll probably be in next cycle.

War Machine is older, he should be in this cycle.

At this point, we've seen all the newer characters Mordo and older.  Since we just passed Nick Fury who starts with "D" in parenthesis, we're still pretty early in the alphabet.  We've quite literally passed all the newer characters already (by an odd coincidence they all start with C or earlier,) so they all will almost certainly appear when the cycle resets in... 136 days.  Woof, that's a long time.

The link lists Agent Coulson second - he might be first, though, depending on if they count the space as a character or not.  S comes before V, but space may be before alphabetical characters.

Gwenpool and Medusa should be 10 & 30 days from today, those are the benchmarks for whether the new characters will be in this cycle or not.

Taking advantage, I never quite understood how these cycles work ... is there any specific topic explaining about this?

I've only been able to understand, that in DDQ there is a 3 * character rotation that goes through all of them until start over and change the color of the skill that will be the reward ... But that was purely my observation.

"Crash of the Titans" used to be in a set order like the 3*s that was roughly based on order of release.  At some point they made an announcement that they were revising the order according a not-so-secret pattern, and then published the new order.  They stated new characters would be added to the list by the same pattern.  That pattern was clearly alphabetical by the first letter in Parenthesis - so, for example Quake (Daisy Johnson) would be followed by Nick Fury (Director of SHEILD.)

In a different post, I believe it was a preview, someone (Cthulhu or Brigby, I think?) stated that new characters would be added to the list after the second time they were awarded for placement in PVE.  So basically the first time they are a placement award after their introduction event.  We've had Mordo, but not Agent Coulson, so theoretically Coulson won't be added until then.  However, since "until then" is so far in the future, he almost certainly will be a part of the next cycle.

I'll confess that I haven't quite understood how they award/feature characters in PVE.  I don't think it's random, but I haven't sussed out the pattern yet.  Have you?

There is a pattern/cycle.  Tinykittied if I know what it is though.

All I can determine from the pve pattern is that vintage 4s are featured about every 2 weeks.  IMHB was last I think and now venom, who was already featured in pve sometime this year with one of the 7 day events.

They need to toss that "featured in a pve twice" thing out of thr window, if they haven't already. The twelve are covered so quickly now at least in terms of crash readiness that it has become an arbitrary requirement.

The current pattern for featured four stars in PvE has been observed to be generally: new release, 12, 12, vaulted, repeat, with one of those 12 usually being out of tokens in the next season. However given that 2/3rds of token 12 have qualified for the Crash (and the rest have been 'passed' in the cycle) that cycle may change.

Agent Venom just barely missed qualifying by like... three days this cycle and Carol just managed to slip in with the help of an April Fool's Howard Crash delaying the cycle by one and a very timely PvE reward.
So it comes down to where they're expected to be in the cycle and when they're released. If they're released three months or less to their position in the cycle, it can be a long long time until they actually appear. Which is what happened with War Machine I think.

There's going to be new Crashes run throughout July, unless Howard is run again somewhere in the middle. Then a few new ones in August. (The start of the cycle is going to be new character heavy too, but that's going to be sometime in November/December.)
