Count elite tournaments towards season score?

What do you think? If they release another elite tournament (the PvP event that requires HP to enter), should it count towards the season score?

On the positive side, I think it would encourage more participation in the elite tournaments as there would be another incentive to join (helping your season score) besides the guaranteed heroic token. On the negative side, you need to pay (even more) HP to remain competitive for the season placement rewards.

    Elite tournaments are gone. Not officially, but we haven't seen any in at least two months I believe, and given how they're dominantly determined by people who have tons of time to spare and monitor the leaderboard, as well as who is willing to drop their coins on shields, it's not the elite tournament they were really aiming to create.

    I can't find it, but I'm almost positive they said that it wouldn't count, just like LR's don't count
