Opening the Menu Mid-Animation "Freezes"

The menu animation which makes it go from tiny to full screen bugs out if another animation is running at the same time and stops the menu from expanding.  This makes it impossible to close unless you figure out where the hell the miniature X to close it is.

Either make the back button close the menu or get rid of this moronic animation and just make the screen appear full screen to start with.  This is extremely frustrating when you happen to open it to figure out objectives.

    Will probably not necessary, but I confirm that one as being really annoying. And old, by the way

    Yeah, you´ll learn the hard way to only look at the objectives in your turn...
    I like the suggested "back button closes" though, that should be a workaround thats faster to implement
