Pvp and how to maximize down time?

So after a couple months of being smacked around and watching in frustration as my hard earned ratings plummet in the current pvp node, I've managed a couple of 3* and enjoying pvp more. So here are some questions:

I tank rounds when I'm not motivated to play. This has helped immensely. Now the problem is with the transition from 2 to 3 star, I've found myself missing OBW'S heal. I run 141 LCap and 112 The Hood along with the required. Aside from the godlike cascades, I find myself having to heal every 3 matches, sometimes less. I pace my healthpacks fairly well, and do heal runs with OBW but it gets tedious. What do people do to minimize down time? I don't have a classic spidy nor do I plan to use him even if I have him. Maybe it's because LCap is a bit slower? Or am I doing something wrong? Sometimes I just swap out hood for OBW if I need to go on an endurance run.

Should I leave Hood at around 115? He is about to over take LCap in Blue. Does anyone have experience with the trade off of tanking more colors vs more durability? The Hood just broke 3k hp, and having him tank another color seems really bad.

Everything aside, I really like LCap and Hood. Boomerang for 3.2k is pretty sexy once he revs up. I just got a 5/3/4 GSBW and she's lovely to pair with them.

  • Sounds like you need more ISO to level up more people.

    Get multiple teams going. I usually run GSBW/Hulk/Hood and then when they are hurting I run Spidey/Patch/whatever. If I'm really desperate, I'll run Ares, LazyThor, Doom. That usually gives me enough time to let my health packs replenish and get my 'A' team going again.

    You don't even need to max them out .. just up to level 100.
  • Don't forget you can always swap OBW in for a few matches to heal some as well if you want to save on health packs
