@Brigby If you would like to request an old topic be brought up again, then please start a new thread. Closing this discussion.

I would like to request a Developer Q&A on a regular basis.

    This. Please this.
The community has been begging for more consistent communication from the developers. You say you want and value our feedback well here's some feedback for you.
We want you to talk to us.

    On another note.
@Brigby if you don't want for us to post on older (but still relevant) threads why not go ahead and close all old discussions.

What, you'd like to hear the Dev Team explain why Defender is a positive ability which requires a higher cost, or why Cycling is in fact balanced and we're all mistaken about it?

    Please.

@shteev I'd also like to know how vigilance is considered a buff and how taking away QB was a good thing for new players. Etc, etc.

Tried holding my breath. Face turned blue. Think I killed some brain cells.

Sure. I enjoy it when people say bollocksy thinks they actually believe are true.

We've had numerous Developer Thread articles in the past, with developers available to answer any questions after it's posted, so it's definitely an idea we've executed on before. Unfortunately the development team has been very busy lately with working on developing new features and working on various bug fixes.

Getting the Developer Threads back up and running on a consistent basis is something I want to employ again, but as of right now it's unfortunately taken a bit of a back-seat, and I can't guarantee when we'll be able to get the next one posted.

It shouldn't be that hard to get something like this going on a consistent basis. If I didn't know better, I would say it appears that there's resistance to this somwhere inside the company. But that's not the case, is it? No, never.

Thank you for the information, @Brigby. Please keep us posted if this ever gets to become a priority.

And you know, this wouldn't take much time: We could – knowing that the devs would be listening – prepare and shoot the questions in the morning, and they could then just visit the thread for an hour or two and answer them.

Well, that's what I expected regarding the overall situation - I think no one denies the importance of getting rid of the 561 bugs, especially the 47 that really disturb while playing.

If you're up to reimplement these threads, I think posts like the one of Uwe etc might strengthen your positon. I'd like to see that!

Yes. I will definitely bring this topic up again if there is any movement on the next Developer's Thread. When it comes to a Q&A session, it can be challenging for the developers to find X amount of time on Y given day, to just sit down and answer questions; it's a small, but devoted team, so tight scheduling keeps them busy.

Having said that though, they certainly welcome community questions! So long as everyone can understand that it might take time for them to respond, then please don't hesitate to start up a discussion thread with a list of common questions. I will be sure to pass them along to the developers, and relay their responses back to the community.
