Who gets the ISO love?

My turn for a little roster advice...

I tend to dump ISO on whoever I can level at any one time rather than hoarding so what I'm really looking for here is a priority list now that I've finished off my go to 2* team - CStorm (5/5/3 L85), MNMags (3/5/5 L85) and OBW (5/4/4 L85).

The main contenders are (and the order I'm thinking of):

L50 Ares (5/5/2) - soft capped @ 77
L64 Punisher (1/3/4) - soft capped @ 79
L59 Hulk (4/2/1) - soft capped @ 66
L50 Moonstone (4/5/4)
L30 Cap Murica (3/5/5)
L1 Widow (5/5)*
L1 Venom (5/5)*

*Not really a priority but they might be handy next time a Lone Star or DA-themed event turn up.

All the others are too cover-starved to be even slightly useful. And yes I'm aware that Ares isn't the best build but Yellow covers seem to be really bloody rare for me.

  • Ares is the no-brainer here. Pun and Hulk don't really get good until level 95+

    Good to know.

I've only pushed Hulk that high so he can tank for MStorm when I feel like abusing the desert node icon_e_wink.gif
  • Your planned order looks great. I'd just drop moonstone and cap from it and leave them where they are unless they get buffed for an event. Neither of them will make your lineup otherwise.
You might even want to just level Ares, then hoard ISO until somoene is buffed or you get enough covers to make your 3* more viable. If you suck at hoarding like I do, just level your top 3 on your list in that order.

    Time for a necrobump!

I've actually managed to get a bit of a stockpile going - which is rare for me - simply because I don't know where I should be spreading it around. The current contenders are:

    Hulk [5/3/2] L83 - capped @ 102
    CMags [3/4/4] L72 - capped @ 115
    Doom [4/4] L64 - capped @ 89
    Loki [5/4] L50 - capped @ 102
    Torch (who will hopefully be) [3/2/2] L30 - capped @ 66ish (?)

Now obviously most of them are not ideal (two black covers for Hulk means he's not so scary, Doom & Loki just aren't that good, CMags is due for a Ragnaroking) so should I bother leveling them any further at all? I'm only sitting on about 30K ISO at the moment whatever the answer so this is more where should I be directing future investment.

I wouldn't level anyone right now.

As you say, 2K Hulk is weak. While 3/4/4 CMags is not ideal, I think I ran 3/2/5 CMags as part of my initial 3* team, so a 3/4/4 CMags is still useful. I'd probably just keep stockpiling Iso, though. I don't like any of the others. icon_razz.gif

    Necrobump 2: Electric Boogaloo!

Through some incredibly good fortune I've bagged meself a fair bit 'o swag over the last month and now I need to re-jig my priority list. Hoarding ISO makes my brain hurt so this is once again more a question of who should I pumping it into as it arrives.

Here's the plan as it stands:

    1. Patch (4/1/5 - L130) Softcapped
    2. Hood (2/2/2 L76) Softcapped
    3. Lazy Daken (4/2/2 L87)
    4. Black Panther (2/3/2 L89) Softcapped
    5. CMags (3/5/4 L145)
    6. Lazy Thor (2/-/3 L76) Softcapped
    7. Lazy Cap (5/5/2 L82)
    8. Birdguy (2/4/3 L81)
    9. Psyduck (5/4/4 L143)
    10. Sentry (1/2/3 L68)

*Softcapped guys I'll obviously skip over for now but once I get additional covers, they get more love.

    Then Hulk (5/3/2 L08), Doom (5/5 L100), GSBW (4/1/4 L96), Torch (3/2/2 L89), IM40 (1/4/2 L77), Mostorm (2/3/1 L66), and Spidey (3/2/1 L55) in whatever order or whenever they're boosted for an event or I get bored.

Any one so super critical I should be bumping them up the queue?

I don't know that I'd say he's super-critical, but I'd make Daken a top priority. Getting strike tiles just for matching green is nice. He plays well with anyone with a green power.
