Is it just me, or is this card not firing on the new cards.  It doesn't work on the Sphinx that ignores spells, and disables itself, I get that.  It doesn't work on the card that ignores damage but instead damages the planeswalker.  It doesn't work on Gods,  

It also doesn't work on about 8 other cards that don't have any text about ignoring these kinds of spells.  Do the cards from this set have an immunity from this card?

    Prevent Damage is bugged right now to prevent destroy effects. It sounds like for some reason Baral's Expertise is spaghetti coded to have something in common with destroy effects. Definitely post this in the bugs section if you haven't already!

    I noticed it will cast if you have an eligible card in hand to be filled even without selecting a creature to be removed. Not sure if that's by design or not
