Sigh. With each new set I hope their copywriter learns the difference between "it's" and "its", and with each new st I'm disappointed. Seriously, every instance in the game is wrong.

Of course, my own typo (update: fixed) doesn't help my case, but I'm typing this on my ipad. Maybe that's what their writer is doing.

Sometimes the issue is technical, ie. when importing the text into the database vs. returning it to the server, sometimes apostrophes must be escaped, and it was an input or programming issue.  Copywriter / editor is not involved at this point.

This isn't a case of apostrophes being dropped. It's the case of them being added in. Not a technical issue unless there's an errant auto-correct function as the copy's imported in.

I submitted a ticket about this last summer, and was told it was "being worked on". Clearly that was a lie, since they still get it wrong every set. The weird thing is they do sometimes get it right. For example, in AKH, Cancel gets it right, but Censor doesn't. So obviously quality control is a foreign concept to the developers.

I've noticed that JC, the designer of cards, often types "it's" when he means "its" when posting on this forum, so it's likely him that is the cause of all these errors. Apparently he's not interested in learning how to use the two words correctly, or correcting these cards despite it being "easy" according to him, so I'm assuming we can expect this level of laziness to continue with future sets.
