I really did not care for the writing in these two events. I really didn't find the conversations compelling, and the humor was not there.  The "I am Groot" gag has been done to death, I think, and "Um....." doesn't really go very far as dialog, for example, especially when each character only has a single portrait. The nuance of how that might go on screen is totally lost.

And speaking of portraits, it's really distracting when 4* Rocket and Groot have essentially the same portrait, except that Groot's is zoomed in more on him. The change in pixel quality there is really apparent, even on an iphone 5, and it's especially awkward when Rocket and Groot converse with each other. I think Groot deserves his own portrait with the same resolution as everyone else.
