Simulator event - round 3 - medusa/punisher/carnage node

What. The. Tiny. Kitty??!!?!?

seriously? My strongest team, with max AP boost and max match damage boost, and i only kill Medusa before my whole team is wiped? You have got to be tiny kitty kidding me!!! I understand that this is the toughest node. I don't expect a cakewalk. But it should be eventually beatable!!

Medusa, Carol, and Peggy work well, if you have them all. 

Carnage gives both teams enough special tiles to match for both Medusas to keep everyone on both teams fully healed initially. Peggy buys you time with increased AP costs for punisher.  Carol's passive will put you ahead in damage eventually, and once you get enough blue, it's just a matter of choosing who to stun and who to finish off first (hopefully you have 5 yellow and a black CD from Carol going by then). 

YMMV, of course.

Red Hulk with Carol. Probably with Medusa too to keep you in bandages. Just save Carnage for last. Once there are enough attack tiles, Red Hulk will start throwing out angry little CD tiles and Carol will buff your happy little attack tiles. The question becomes "do I use purple for Gamma Siphon, or for Hair Meddle?"

I did it using Jessica Drew + Wolverine X-Force + Wasp. I mainly focused on black and purple. Jessica's Seeking Redemption to dodge attacks and Love to git rid of those pesky Carnage tiles until I whittled down Medusa. Then I used Wolverine's Surgical Strike to nuke Carnage. Focusing on black also denied black to Punisher so he couldn't get off Army of One.

I used Medusa, 4Blade, and IMHB. Really no trouble at all.

Medusa/Wasp/Falcon did it for me. A good board really helped, too, admittedly.

Same here since they are all champed and with the boosts they were my highest three characters (though Patch probably would've been more useful and with his boost he was "next in line" for me).  I also focused on black and purple but I used Wasp's sting and Jessica's Fear.  Between those and Wasp's passive the AI did itself in pretty quickly.

I just used my current answer to all tough nodes, Carol/Wasp/Cage (mainly since I don't have Medusa champed yet). I can see that this could go bad if Medusa matches special tiles early, but that doesn't always happen and didn't happen in this case, so I hardly took damage.

Walked through it with Cho, Jessica Drew, and IM40.  Jessica (3/5/5) and Cho (5/5/3, and if I had 12 blue) were able to one-shot any of the enemy team there with their Red and Green, respectively.  In addition, Jessica's Purple traps were a nice treat when they were matched (12k damage).

Hm. I got this one on the first try; can't remember if it was with Xforce/Cmags/Iron Fist or some other team.
