Idea for compensation

With the way everything went down with the update, bugs, crashes, coalition rewards not being awarded, a complete lack of coalition events for two weeks, etc.. you guys mentioned giving us something extra for our trouble. 

My concern is that it will be something like 50 unobtainium. What I'd like to propose is that when the update arrives and brings back coalition events and a whole new set, why not reward something like a couple of premium packs of Amonkhet cards, or the crystals to buy them?

I think players would be happy with that level of reward AND it would give the players who are on the fence about leaving a reason to stay and give the new set a shot.

I think everyone should get the equivalent of top personal/progression/coalition rewards for each event that didn't happen.

This is equivalent to what some players actually missed out on and, with the nerfed rewards, it's not all that much extra for everyone else.

I don't like the idea of asking for specific compensations.. But since it is already announced that they'll do something and this thread already exists, I think my favorite would be a card pack of the new release.

400 purple jewels is about right. I lost 2 mythics because of the unannounced change in the tiebreaking system and 2 freezes in BP that resulted in forced quitting when I was leading the game, and another loss in BP because of the announced maintenance in the middle of the BP event.
