Finish Medusa for 120 cp?

Howdy folks, more indecisiveness on my part, so hopefully y'all can offer me some guidance.  I'm one purple cover short of completing Medusa and I've got 4 yellow covers dying on the vine.  Assuming I don't pull a purple in the 10 days I have left, is it worth 120 cp to save them?

I think the arguments for is that she's a higher tier character and she's in the packs for a while yet, so there'll likely be more champ levels to come.  She's also my current "most coveted character".

The argument against is along the same lines, but a different way of looking at it.  She'll be in the packs a while yet, so I'll probably get that purple eventually and 4 champ levels isn't really a big deal.  In the meantime, there goes 5 other LT pulls.

Its such a subtle difference between pro and con that I can't decide.  I'm leaning towards pro because I want her.  For reference, I have 27 4* champs, including most of the top tier.  I mostly stick to pve play.

    I love her. Fun to play and scary on defence. Make her only BH and keep pulling if you are not hoarding. But keep 120cp at hand. When time is right - pull the trigger. She is one of maybe 4-5 4* worth it. She finds her uses not boosted and that is a rare case that makes her top in my eyes.

    Well not a robust series of responses, but thanks for your input Magic!  That's the plan I had in mind, so I'm happy you've backed it up.  

    I've been using (unboosted) 12 cover medusa all week in pve and I've really enjoyed her.  I don't think I'll regret the 120cp loss to finish her off if it comes to that.

    What Magic said. Sure, you miss out on those chances at 5*s, but as another way to look at it, those 4 covers represent 80/100 Cp worth of pulls depending on the pool you use, so the actual cost becomes 40/20. A bargain for someone like Medusa.

    I never considered including the cp cost of the potentially wasted covers in the calculation.  That's a good point!

    Same for me. This is so logical, yet it eluded me. So now if I consider buying Coulson to finish him off i look at it as 80 CP, not 120 (with 2 covers on the vine). Or even 55 CP as he will immediately give a Legendary token. And 55 CP is a perfectly acceptable price as most likely they would give me 2 champ levels for somebody else. Me gusta.
