old packs

Before the patch i was able to buy old packs for crystals. How to get them now?

    Old sets come and go in the vault. Currently you can only buy Kaladesh and Origins, but BFZ and SOI will come back (at least, they always have in the past!). Check in next Thursday and you'll probably find one of them for sale.

    Also, hold off on buying old sets till the new patch comes out next week. 

    Patch notes indicate that bfZ and Soi cards will have limited uses in future.

    Lol @quittin' shoes... It will be a nice restart though. Looking forward to not seeing soi red beat down in FirF anymore

    Regarding packs from older sets... I wish they would rotate older events (maybe one a week) into the schedule and offer those card packs as prizes.

    The Origns cards might become more important in the future - I'll chase bfz nevertheless.

    Yes... it is a good idea. I'd suggest a "Throwback Thursday" where older event from rotated sets are run.

    This will reduce the sting for some players that don't want to lose their best/favorite cards with rotation, while allowing newer players to acquire cards from these older sets.

    Just make sure the prizes are from those sets, and not the latest set.

    Throwback Thursday is a great idea, though they'd probably use some weird computer geek definition of "Thursday" which would really be Wednesday afternoon.

    Just an idea:
    Shouldn't the prizes for "older" decks (here BFZ and SOI) go down, since they won't be as useful as before?

    Half use, half prize!
