The removal of mythic rewards

this is a really controversial topic, and I'd like to share my thoughts on the removal of mythic rewards from the coalition leaderboard and the solo leaderboard.

I support the idea of jewels and the idea of the removal of mythic rewards from coalition leaderboard, but not single player. And here's why:

It was always the same 11 or 12 coalitions getting top 10 mythics, but it was usually different people who won mythics from the solo leaderboard. The same people getting mythics from the coalition leaderboard week after week was bad, it was. It was a case of the rich getting richer. removing their mythics, in its idea, was great! The execution... Not so much. If jewels had been done better and replaced mythics as rewards adequately for players in all stages of the game then everything would be fine. everyone getting a piece of a mythic is better than the same group always getting whole ones. Basically, I wholly support the idea, but the execution wasn't so great. I could share my thoughts on alternatives, but that would be so much writing it'd warrant another post, which I might make sometime later.

I'm not of any coalition and honestly not too familiar in how that system works.  But from what I gathered from the forums,  these coalitions really tip the scales. Question for clarity.  Are you suggesting that coalitions get X number of jewels to be able to use for a "random" mythic purchase?

Let me go over my thoughts on what jewels had been, to clarify a bit.

Jewels let you purchase mythics, there'd be several different ones on sale each week/fortnight. You chose one of those myhics to purchase with X amount of jewels. when you got that mythic, you had a chance to get a random non-dupe masterpiece as well. The mythics on offer would not be limited to ones from the current block.

The rewards might be pretty similar to what they are now, jewels wise, but the numbers would need tweaking. If you play every chance you can to get jewels (TOTP excluded) and placed in the top 50 coalition wise, you should be able to get a pull from my version of the jewels pack every 2 weeks, give or take.

    Hope that helps @Gunmix25

I like how you assumed that same people where in top 10 coalitions and there were NO rotation whatsoever

I never said that, I know there's a lot of rotation, but its still generally the same group of people. Yes, sometimes there is rotation, but not rotation through the thousands of players of this game. no more than 500 people have played in a top 10 coalition for an extended period of time.

Actually it does a great job explaining it.  Thank you.  It's sounds like a much better option and should control the influx of singular powerful mythics hitting the boards and challenges after such events.
