'Backup Plan' PVE?

I saw it and noticed it was an extension to the 'I have a plan PVE' with a new node to do.

Then a little later when I had some free time I went back to enter the 'Backup Plan PVE' and it had changed back to 'I have a plan PVE'. Because of this the new node had disappeared.

Does the event cycle on a timer? Or what is going on / how do I get another chance to enter it?

Any info on this?

I'm guessing it was mistakenly pushed out a little early, before anyone's really had a chance to get some 4*R&G covers.

The essential node also changed from requiring 5*SL and rewarding 5000 ISO to requiring 4*R&G and rewarding 500 ISO.

I completed two of the nodes before the app force restarted, hopefully I'm not punished for this somehow

I did the same but there were only two nodes in the event. Hopefully when it launches correctly there will be more nodes.

    From the Marvel.com news article:

Their special Guardians of the Galaxy story tie-in event is called Backup Plan, which continues the journey in the I Have a Plan event, featuring Star-Lord. This event runs May 11 through May 16 and features Rocket and Groot (Awesome Mix Volume 2) and grants the player covers in mission rewards. Their Versus Tournament is called Best Buds and runs May 11 through May 15.

Yeah, the "Hazard" feature livens things up a lot. Almost makes me forget questions like "how did Norman Osborn's synthetic symbiotes get all the way into deep space?"

    Almost.

Aren't they Doc Ock's synthetic symbiotes?

Can't remember exactly, but Norman does pop up to gloat in one of the sub-events, and it seems like he's taking credit for them.

Osborn hired Doc Ock to create them, or something like that. Osborn's plan, Ock's technical work.

That said, the original symbiote was an alien, so it's entirely reasonable that there would be other things like it out there elsewhere in the galaxy.

In the guardians of the galaxy cartoon, they even encounter a planet of them, so we could even say that their appearance in this event actually makes sense.  :)
