How are selected opponents?

Surely I will be a limited person and my worm may not understand some things but I had read that there would be a better IA in the fighting ... now, taking into account my limited cognitive resources, tell me what sense has put Against a level 29 versus level 60 thet playing only mythical cards? To please explain how the opponents are selected, because it is clear that in this way it continues to be worn out who spends more on an excessively ...
My idea is very easy: the opponent had to be selected with a range of three level more or less than that the player.
Too easy?

The range seems to be -5 (rarely) to +10 levels as far as I have observed.
I also tend to find +10 to much, but I guess that -3 to +3 would be to limited?

I was suggesting on another thread to group
participants based on what cards you are chasing.
so silver tier players chasing uncommons are
grouped together and those same tier players
chasing rares are grouped together. many in the
same groups will have similar deck strengths and
maybe planeswalker levels. many decks have a
variety of strengths. it's the weaknesses and inability
to compete in the next tier that should determine
which tier and group they are best suited to be in.
